Bitonto Calcio has faced a period of difficulty in the Eccellenza pugliese championship, marked by consecutive defeats. Following a 1-0 away loss to Ugento, manager Francesco Modesto characterized the result as “unmerited,” citing a lack of precision despite controlling parts of the match.

In response to recent losses against U. C. Bisceglie and Ugento, the team is preparing to host Galatina at the ‘Città degli Ulivi’ stadium. Modesto has identified defensive vulnerabilities as a primary concern, noting that six of the eight goals conceded during the season were the result of individual errors. The club is currently focused on stabilizing performance and regaining momentum in the league standings.
