Békéscsaba has initiated an autumn landscaping program focused on renewing approximately 1,300 square meters of flower beds. The project involves planting 26,000 biennial plants and 3,000 bulbous plants across various city squares and parks, including Kossuth, Szabadság, and Szent István squares.

Municipal teams are also managing 1.6 million square meters of green space through leaf collection, tree pruning, and shrub maintenance. Due to a lack of rainfall, irrigation systems are being used in high-traffic areas to maintain plant health.
