Blake Snell is currently in the second year of a five-year, $182 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, a deal running from 2025 through 2029 that includes $66 million in deferred compensation scheduled between 2035 and 2046.

During the postseason, Snell has contributed significantly to the Dodgers' efforts, with approximately 24.64 percent of his innings for the team occurring during playoff games.

Despite his success, Snell’s recent seasons have been impacted by injuries involving his shoulder, elbow, and groin, resulting in an average of only 10 starts per year. In response, the 33-year-old pitcher has expressed ambitions to pitch until age 45 and eventually reach the Hall of Fame, stating he intends to use the offseason to focus on physical conditioning to handle a full workload.
