Bloober Team has provided updates regarding “Cronos: Lazarus”, a story DLC for “Cronos: The New Dawn”. 

Initial details revealed at Gamescom 2026 indicated the expansion would focus on more direct combat compared to the original game’s emphasis on survival and resource management. Set before the main game, players were expected to control the Warden during his time as a Pathfinder, utilizing new mechanics such as teleportation, decoys, and invisibility. The expansion was originally scheduled for a Fall 2026 release.

Subsequent updates clarified that the DLC will feature a faster, more aggressive combat style and a new protagonist acting as the Guardian, an elite agent of the Collective. The gameplay will include an arsenal of weapons such as light machine guns, shotguns, and armor-piercing rifles. The expansion is now expected to launch in the spring.
