Bluesound announced the PULSE SUB, a redesigned wireless powered subwoofer intended to complement its soundbar lineups. The device features a 350-watt amplifier and dual opposing 6.5-inch woofers designed to reduce cabinet vibration and resonance. 

Following the announcement, the company launched the product, noting that the new model provides 2.5 times more power than the previous generation. The subwoofer integrates with the BluOS ecosystem, allowing for management of volume, crossover frequency, and phase settings via the BluOS Controller app. While designed for Bluesound products like the PULSE CINEMA and POWERNODE, the unit also includes a low-level analogue input for use with non-BluOS systems.
