The initiative involves decorating shopping district shutters in Aichi, Hyogo, and Fukuoka prefectures with mural art depicting 31 agency artists, including members of BE:FIRST, MAZZEL, HANA, and STARGLOW. Through smartphone technology, visitors can access augmented reality (AR) content featuring artists singing, dancing, or speaking. The project also includes a collaboration with local artisans to create and sell traditional craft products, such as Hakata-ori, Kobe leather, and Yame lanterns, with profits supporting the preservation of these cultural techniques. In addition to the art installations, the agency announced the ‘BMSG TRAINEE SHOWCASE 2026 WINTER’, scheduled for December 19–20, 2026, at Yokohama BUNTAI, which will feature trainees preparing for professional debuts. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-25: BMSG launches AR art project in shopping districts BMSG is hosting an experiential art project using AR on shopping street shutters in Japan, alongside announcing a trainee showcase event in Yokohama for December 2026. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/bmsg-launches-ar-art-project-in-shopping-districts ### 2026-09-19: BMSG celebrates 6th anniversary with AR shutter art and craft collaborations Music agency BMSG is celebrating its 6th anniversary with ‘BMSG OPEN THE SHUTTER,’ featuring AR-enhanced mural art in Japanese shopping districts and a craft collaboration to support local artisans. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/bmsg-celebrates-6th-anniversary-with-ar-shutter-art-and-craft-collaborations --- Cite as: BMSG agency anniversary art and craft projects.
