Bogdanka LUK Lublin has bolstered its roster for the Tauron Liga season with the high-profile transfer of Japanese outside hitter Ran Takahashi. Takahashi, described as one of the world’s top players, joins a squad featuring Wilfredo Leon and coached by Stephane Antiga. Takahashi noted that competing in the Polish league provides technical and tactical advantages for international players.

As the team prepares for upcoming fixtures against ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, coach Antiga has addressed player health concerns. Following previous injury struggles with Kewin Sasak and Mateusz Malinowski, the team is focusing on player form. Additionally, Wilfredo Leon recently took a 1.5-week training break due to a knee injection, though he is expected to be available for upcoming matches. The squad also includes Japanese libero Tomohiro Ogawa, who has integrated well into the team.
