Swedish club Djurgårdens IF has made multiple attempts to sign forward Abdul Abdulmalik from Boreham Wood during the summer transfer window. After an initial £750,000 bid, the Swedish side submitted a second offer of approximately £1 million, which Boreham Wood rejected.

Following a subsequent reported bid of £1.5 million, Boreham Wood chairman Danny Hunter confirmed the club had again turned down the offer.
