The Sarajevo Cantonal Court has partially overturned a previous verdict concerning illegalities in public sector hiring that occurred in 2016. 

Under the new ruling, Esed Džananović and Nedžad Trako have been acquitted of all charges. Conversely, the court ordered a new trial for Amir Zukić, Safet Bibić, and Ramiz Karavdić after partially accepting their defense's appeal. The court rejected an appeal from the Prosecution, which it deemed unfounded. 

The underlying case involved allegations that Amir Zukić, a former federal deputy and member of the Party of Democratic Action, attempted to influence the employment of individuals at Elektroprivreda BiH.
