The movement that began with coordinated July 2024 marches in major Brazilian cities has continued to evolve. After the large public demonstrations, March 2025 saw localized actions such as the Volta Redonda “Celebrating Black Women” event and the Salvador police mut‑day that provided legal assistance to Black women facing discrimination.
