The Brazilian coffee sector is preparing for several major industry events and competitions. The Torrefação do Ano Brasil 2026 roasting competition has announced 20 finalists, selected from 161 entries, who will compete during the International Coffee Week (SIC) in Belo Horizonte from November 11 to 13.

In the canephora category of the Coffee of the Year 2026 competition, four producers from the state of Acre have been recognized among the top 30 coffees in the country. These producers will advance toward a popular vote conducted through blind tastings during the SIC event.

Looking ahead, the National Irrigation in Coffee Farming Fair (Fenicafé) has been scheduled for April 2027 in Araguari, Minas Gerais, to address innovation and sustainability in coffee production.
