In September 2026, the athlete was awarded the title of ‘Cidadão Paraibano’ (Citizen of Paraíba) by the Legislative Assembly of Paraíba. The honor followed a R$ 200,000 donation to support Letícia Maria Carvalho, a woman from João Pessoa who required prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation after a 2023 traffic accident. By October 2026, Richarlison addressed a legal dispute regarding a mansion in Angra dos Reis valued at approximately R$ 10 million. He stated he is seeking reimbursement for funds invested in the property’s occupation rights rather than the property itself. The dispute involves companies linked to the athlete and lawyer Willer Tomaz, an associate of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, following a 2025 ruling by the Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ). During this period, Richarlison also noted that he donates roughly R$ 3 million annually to various social causes in Brazil. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-12: Richarlison seeks reimbursement for R$ 10 million Angra dos Reis mansion dispute Footballer Richarlison seeks to recover funds invested in a R$ 10 million mansion in Angra dos Reis, amid a legal dispute involving associates of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/richarlison-seeks-reimbursement-for-r-10-million-angra-dos-reis-mansion-dispute ### 2026-09-25: Richarlison awarded Citizen of Paraíba title for humanitarian donation Footballer Richarlison has been named a Citizen of Paraíba after donating R$ 200,000 to fund prostheses and rehabilitation for a young woman injured in a traffic accident. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/richarlison-awarded-citizen-of-paraba-title-for-humanitarian-donation --- Cite as: Brazilian footballer Richarlison news.
