The Brazilian insurance sector has recently seen significant recognition for both financial performance and strategic marketing. 

In the Valor 1000 yearbook, major companies demonstrated strong operational results. Grupo MAG was ranked among the top 15 life and pension companies, reporting a 34.7% return on average equity and R$ 2.83 billion in premiums earned. Generali Brasil also showed growth, rising to become the 16th largest insurer in the country with a 33.7% increase in issued premiums compared to the previous year.

Industry awards have further highlighted excellence in communication, data, and leadership. Grupo MAG received the ‘Life Marketing Campaign’ award at the 50th Prêmio Destaques for its campaign ‘O Futuro É MAG: novos tempos, um novo olhar’. Mapfre was honored in the ‘CRM/Data Driven’ category at the 32nd Prêmio ABEMD for utilizing data science and marketing automation, a strategy that contributed to an eight-percentage-point increase in their Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Recognition has also extended to professional leadership and corporate culture. Rosangela Spak of Tokio Marine Seguradora was named ‘Insurance Woman of the Year’ at the 50th CVG-RJ Destaques do Ano awards. Additionally, in the 2026 Great Place to Work (GPTW) Brazil ranking, MAG Seguros secured first place among large companies, with Tokio Marine Seguradora following in third place. MAG Seguros also debuted in the top 50 large companies to work for in Latin America.
