The Brazilian hospitality sector is undergoing significant expansions and renovations, with a particular focus on luxury, wellness, and accessibility.

In Paraná, investments are targeting high-end tourism. The Jurema Águas Quentes resort in Iretama has invested R$ 1.5 million to create Casa Jurema Imperial, a high-end offering featuring five suites and private pools. Meanwhile, the Virá Farm Hotel in Teixeira Soares is expanding its capacity with 38 new accommodations, including chalets and bungalows, centered on a “farm to table” concept.

Major developments are progressing in Rio de Janeiro. The Copacabana Palace is renovating its Edifício Piscina, a project led by architect Ivan Rezende scheduled for completion in November 2026. This renovation will reduce the number of accommodations from 96 to 68 larger suites and include a five-story wellness center.

Additionally, the Pestana Rio Atlântica has entered a modernization phase focusing on premium categories. The hotel has renovated its Presidential Suite and 22 Ocean Suites, updating decor, furniture, lighting, and finishes. These upgrades include an exclusive rooftop breakfast service offering panoramic views of Copacabana and Sugarloaf Mountain.

In Brumadinho, the Clara Arte hotel at the Inhotim museum is finalizing a R$ 59.3 million expansion called Ala Galeria. This project will increase capacity from 46 to 76 accommodations, with a design focused on 100% accessibility for guests with reduced mobility and families with young children.
