The Brazilian music scene features a mix of historical significance and contemporary cultural events. In São Paulo, a major samba celebration titled “O Maior Encontro do Samba” brought together prominent artists such as Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione, and Jorge Aragão. Additionally, the history of Grupo UM is recognized for its role in the independent music movement during the late 1970s.

Scheduled cultural activities include a free “passinho” dance workshop in Mariana, which features discussions on R&B, soul, and funk. In Belém, the “A Barca Reggae Vibes” event is set to take place on a catamaran in Guajará Bay. The program, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, will feature headlining performances by the bands Reggae Town and Marina e os Leones. Departing from the Marina Regional at 4:00 PM, the event aims to combine live music with the natural landscapes of the Amazon region, highlighting local traditions that blend Jamaican reggae with Amazonian rhythms such as carimbó and guitarrada.
