Brazilian musicians continue to utilize various platforms to celebrate and preserve the nation's cultural heritage. Artists such as the Olodum afro-bloc and Lazzo Matumbi have focused on social consciousness, anti-racism, and the importance of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous pillars in the struggle for rights and ancestral recognition.

Other contemporary projects emphasize musical tributes and genre exploration. Singer Decco Torres is set to showcase his album ‘Neo’, which draws from Soul, Disco Funk, and MPB, while Ferrugem has recorded an audiovisual project titled ‘Legado: Ferrugem canta Alcione’ to honor the classics of singer Alcione.

In João Pessoa, the historic center serves as a diverse cultural hub. Through the Cultural Foundation (Funjope), the city hosts events like Sabadinho Bom at Praça Rio Branco, featuring singer and instrumentalist Beto Tavares performing samba and choro classics.

Expanding on urban youth culture, the Batalha do Beco project also brings hip-hop to the historic center. This program includes the Batalha da BR rhyme battle and the second edition of the Street Flow Festival, featuring performances by Deox and DJ Mangueboy. Regional programming has also expanded to include frevo and capoeira demonstrations at the Mangabeira Tenente Lucena Cultural Center, as well as gastronomy and music events at Parque das Três Ruas.
