Olive oil producers from Brazil’s Serra da Mantiqueira region have achieved significant recognition in both international and domestic competitions.

In September 2026, Vinícola Essenza’s Mantikir Coratina was named the best Brazilian olive oil at the Olio Nuovo Days Southern Hemisphere in France, ranking second in the Southern Hemisphere. The company’s Mantikir Grappolo also received a Premium Gold medal. Additionally, Fazenda Sabiá was honored by the Italy-based Flos Olei 2026 guide for its extraction system and Picual variety.

By late October 2026, domestic recognition continued at the CNA Brazil Artisanal Award, organized by the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil in partnership with Senar and Sebrae.
