Various regional summits in Brazil are highlighting the country’s growing innovation and technology ecosystems.

The Gramado Summit recently marked its tenth anniversary, growing from a small gathering to an event with over 24,000 participants. Founder Marcus Rossi noted the event aims to showcase “Brazilian-made solutions,” with a future theme of ‘Made in Brasil’ to increase global visibility for domestic innovations.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, the i9-67 Summit – Inove na Prática took place in Campo Grande on October 29 and 30. Organized in partnership with Sebrae/MS and involving state agencies such as Fundect and Semadesc, the event focused on strengthening the local technological entrepreneurship ecosystem. The summit brought together public authorities, startups, research institutions, and the productive sector to discuss generative artificial intelligence, deep techs, emerging technologies, and the governance of local innovation ecosystems. Discussions included using innovation as a driver for regional development, featuring panels with representatives from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) and other local innovation actors.
