Brazilian telecommunications companies are expanding their service offerings through digital transformation and advanced connectivity. Initially, operators such as Vivo and Claro began integrating artificial intelligence assistants and cloud storage into broadband and mobile packages. Vivo, for instance, offered Google’s Gemini AI Plus and cloud storage to customers as part of a strategy to act as a distribution platform for digital services.

Building on these efforts, Claro has moved toward implementing 5G technology and smart networks to support high-density ecosystems. As the official technology partner for the Nubank Parque multi-use arena in Brazil, Claro has implemented advanced connectivity infrastructure, including over 700 high-capacity Wi-Fi 6 access points supported by a dedicated fiber optic network. 

The arena now features 5G Advanced (5.5G) in standalone mode and hosts Brazil’s first commercial millimeter wave (mmWave) network. This infrastructure is designed to support high-definition streaming for visitors while ensuring low latency for corporate operations and payment systems. Under the leadership of CEO Rodrigo Marques, Claro continues to focus on innovation through its BeOn hub, which connects startups and research centers to company projects.
