In the Carioca Sub-20 championship, Vasco da Gama’s winning streak has extended to six consecutive victories following their 3-0 win over Botafogo, where goals were scored by Gustavo Guimarães, Lukas Zuccarello, and Andrey Fernandes. The team currently holds third place in the standings.

At the professional level, Vasco is intensifying training under Pedro Emanuel ahead of upcoming Brasileirão matches against Botafogo and Remo. The club is also preparing for a decisive Copa Sul-Americana fixture against Boca Juniors, with management currently weighing whether to host the return match at São Januário or the Maracanã.

Internally, the club is undergoing a transition to a new management structure under Marcos Lamacchia, a process expected to conclude by November.
