Various communities across Latin America have organized events to promote breast cancer awareness and support patients. 

In Chile, activities included a solidarity run in Zapallar to benefit the oncology group ‘El Legado de Yenny’ and the ‘Pink Party’ in Coyhaique, which raised funds for the Agrupación de Ayuda al Enfermo de Cáncer. The Coyhaique event also provided educational workshops on managing lymphedema.
