Recent reports highlight significant lottery wins across British Columbia. In Quesnel, a resident claimed a $46-million Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Jackpot after discovering a winning ticket from a December 2025 draw. The winner, identified as Richard Z., purchased the ticket at the Billy Barker Casino.

In the Agassiz region, a million-dollar Lotto Max winning ticket was announced for the October 20 draw. This marks the second million-dollar win in Agassiz within a two-month period, following a late September Lotto 6/49 win by Seble G. of Vancouver, who purchased a ticket at a Canco station at the corner of Highway 7 and Hot Springs Road. Seble G. intends to use the windfall toward a home purchase.

Other recent winners include Dylan S. of Shawnigan Lake, who won a $100,000 MAXPLUS prize from the October 13 Lotto Max draw, and Noah F. from Kamloops, who won a $500,000 Extra prize from the October 16 Lotto Max draw.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) reported that in 2026, players have redeemed more than $44 million in Extra winnings and over $145 million from Lotto Max.
