Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, continue efforts to establish a professional identity independent of the Beckham family empire. Following Brooklyn’s announcement of an estrangement from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, he has reportedly turned to his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, for business guidance. Peltz is reportedly encouraging the couple to align with high-end brands to build a sophisticated reputation as a power couple, distinct from the fashion and sports-based empire built by the Beckhams.

Family tensions appear to be escalating. Reports indicate that David and Victoria Beckham have grown frustrated with the couple, with some alleging they are ‘riding their coattails’ by benefiting from the family name. This friction was highlighted by the couple’s decision to attend events like the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week while notably skipping Victoria Beckham’s own fashion presentations.

Brooklyn has previously expressed a desire for privacy and independence, stating he did not want to be part of ‘Brand Beckham’. Observers have also pointed to recent social media activity, such as Brooklyn wearing a shirt featuring the phrase ‘It’s not clocking to you’, as a potentially cryptic message directed toward his family.
