The 12th Buckwheat Flower Festival, themed ‘Âm vang miền đá’ (Echoes of the Stone Highlands), opened in Tuyen Quang province within the UNESCO Global Geopark of the Dong Van Karst Plateau. 

The event is designed to promote green tourism, natural landscapes, and the cultural identities of local ethnic communities. Activities include artistic performances by professional artists, folk artisans, and students, alongside cultural exchanges and exhibitions of local agricultural specialties and traditional crafts like linen weaving and indigo dyeing. To support the festival, approximately 400 hectares of buckwheat flowers were planted to ensure blooming from October through December.
