The facility was developed by renovating a 274-square-meter former railway warehouse at the intersection of Moldes and Zabala streets. The project, costing approximately 1,333 million pesos, is intended to provide primary healthcare services to roughly 15,000 residents from Colegiales and surrounding areas, including Belgrano, Coghlan, Chacarita, Villa Ortúzar, and Palermo. Available services include general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry, psychology, and vaccination, as well as access to specialists such as cardiology, dermatology, nutrition, psychiatry, endocrinology, and pulmonology. This opening is part of a broader municipal initiative to strengthen primary care and upgrade hospital and diagnostic infrastructure across the city, which includes plans for over 500 new intensive care units and various expansions of existing medical facilities. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-25: Colegiales railway warehouse converted into new health center A former railway warehouse in Colegiales, Buenos Aires, has been converted into CeSAC 51, a new community health center providing primary care and specialist services to approximately 15,000 residents. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/colegiales-railway-warehouse-converted-into-new-health-center ### 2026-09-22: Buenos Aires opens new community health center in Colegiales Buenos Aires has opened CeSAC 51, a new community health center in Colegiales created from a repurposed railway warehouse to provide local access to medical specialties. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/buenos-aires-opens-new-community-health-center-in-colegiales --- Cite as: Buenos Aires community health center expansion.
