During their Week 7 bye week, the Buffalo Bills are addressing defensive weaknesses to bolster their roster. Following a 5-1 start to the season, the team is focused on improving its pass defense, which currently ranks 31st overall after allowing 1,715 passing yards through six games.

To improve the pass rush, the team hosted tryouts for edge rushers Jose Ramirez, Cam Sample, and Jamie Sheriff. Additionally, analysts have suggested the team may seek a trade for Washington Commanders cornerback Amik Robertson before the November 10 deadline to improve coverage at the cornerback and safety positions.
