Bulgaria has held various events to honor the legacy of Ivan Vazov, the ‘Patriarch of Bulgarian literature’. On September 22, the National Literary Museum organized a memorial ceremony in Sofia, including a service at the writer’s grave and presentations regarding his literary impact.

Following these commemorations, the Ivan Vazov House-Museum in Sopot unveiled a renovated, interactive exhibition and a new educational center. The project, funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation and the Sopot Municipality, utilizes modern methods to present the life of Vazov and his family while preserving historical archives and murals.
