The 2026/27 Bulgarian football season is underway, featuring changes to the top tier and ongoing scheduling in the lower divisions.

The First League has transitioned to a 14 team format for its 103rd edition, which reduces the total number of matches per campaign. The competition structure involves a regular season followed by playoffs divided into three groups. Television rights for these matches are held by Nova Broadcasting Group, with live broadcasts on Diema Sport.

In the Second League, the Bulgarian Football Union has released official referee assignments for the 14th round of the season, including officials for key matchups such as the derby between Rilski Sportist and OFK Vihren Sandanski.
