Bulgarian municipalities and private entities have undertaken various infrastructure projects to improve recreational and educational spaces for children and residents.

In Sofia, a 600-square-meter playground and sports area was opened at the Center for Special Educational Support (CSOP) ‘Lozeneц’. Donated by ‘Obshtinska Banka’ AD and the ‘Sonotech Foundation’, the facility includes sectors for outdoor fitness, children’s play equipment, and mini-football.

In Plovdiv, local upgrades included the renovation of a playground in the Zapaden district, featuring new shock-absorbent surfaces and equipment funded by Build Invest. Additionally, new sports facilities were inaugurated at the Nikola Vaptsarov Secondary School in the Severen district, providing courts for volleyball, basketball, and football, alongside an outdoor fitness zone.
