Bulgarian singer DARA recently underwent a period of social media activity and professional restructuring. Following her Eurovision 2026 victory with the song ‘Bangaranga’, she deleted all photos and videos from her Instagram profile, including career milestones. While she did not provide a definitive reason for the purge, she had previously announced a temporary withdrawal from the media spotlight to prioritize her mental health and personal space. This period also coincided with the conclusion of her decade-long partnership with Virginia Records.

Shortly after this social media hiatus, DARA transitioned into a new musical phase by releasing an English-language single titled ‘Bad Idea’. The track, which features electronic influences, serves as a preview for her first full-length English-language album scheduled for release in 2027. The singer indicated that this new project will feature a more electronic sound compared to her previous pop work.
