A 39-year-old man was detained in Limbang, Sarawak, following a burglary at the Limbang Information Centre. The theft, involving a building managed by the Limbang District Council, resulted in estimated losses of nearly RM78,000. 

Authorities reported that the suspect allegedly pried open doors to steal aluminum structures and glass window frames from both the upper and lower floors of the facility. During the investigation, police recovered eight sacks containing dismantled aluminum metal parts. The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
