Despite preceding concerns regarding social unrest and violence in Paris, the NFL proceeded with the event under heightened security, drawing an attendance of 78,488 spectators. The Steelers' victory was driven by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 212 yards. Rodgers threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Darnell Washington, a play that allowed him to reach 540 career touchdown passes, surpassing Peyton Manning for third place on the NFL's all-time list. Kicker Chris Boswell contributed three field goals, while Jaylen Warren recorded 101 rushing yards. The Steelers' defense was also instrumental, holding the Saints to only 18 rushing yards and recording a key third-quarter interception by linebacker Payton Wilson. For the Saints, quarterback Tyler Shough threw a touchdown pass to Devaughn Veale. The Saints were unable to overcome the deficit after missing a late 52-yard field goal attempt by Daniel Carlson. Following the match, the Steelers improved to a 5–2 record, while the Saints fell to 2–5. While the event took place amidst recent civil unrest and protests in Paris concerning educational funding and the cost of living, the game was completed without major incident. Spectators reported a “welcoming atmosphere” despite the increased police presence. ## Claims - The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the New Orleans Saints at the Stade de France.
