American metal band Butcher Babies announced their upcoming album, ‘Nightbloom’, which is scheduled for release on October 2 via Judge & Jury Records. The album was produced by Howard Benson, with co-production from Joe Rickard, Neil Sanderson, and Henry Flury.

Frontwoman Heidi Shepherd stated that the project is a personal exploration of themes such as heartbreak, trauma, betrayal, and survival. She noted that the songwriting process was influenced by her experiences in therapy, allowing her to process suppressed emotions and past traumas. Shepherd described the work as a means of turning negative experiences into something positive, stating, ‘This new album isn’t about the suffering, it’s about the survival.’

Alongside the announcement, the band released a music video for the single ‘Blame It on the Wind’.
