CaixaBank has implemented various social inclusion and solidarity initiatives through basketball events in Spain.

In August, the ‘Grada Solidaria’ project was launched in Tenerife during a match between the Spanish women’s national team and Belgium. In collaboration with the Spanish Basketball Federation, the initiative enabled 122 individuals from Club de La Piruleta and Aldeas Infantiles to attend the match alongside volunteers to promote teamwork and coexistence.

In September, the Circuito 3x3 CaixaBank, an urban basketball competition, held events in Valladolid and Cáceres. These stops utilized the ‘Triple Solidario’ program, where scoring milestones triggered donations from Fundación La Caixa to local organizations, including Down Valladolid and Ascapas.
