In early November 2026, the region unblocked more than 2.2 million euros to provide liquidity to micro and small businesses within the local artisan sector. This measure, coordinated with Fincalabra, was described by Regional Councilor Giovanni Calabrese as a timely response for a sector fundamental to the regional economy. Industry organizations such as Confartigianato Imprese Calabria and CNA Calabria welcomed the move, though leaders noted the importance of completing procedures quickly. Following this, the region announced a postponement for the “Caro Carburante” (High Fuel Costs) public notice. The online platform for road transport companies to apply for fuel cost aid was rescheduled to open on November 18, 2026. The delay was prompted by requests from industry associations, including Fedralog, regarding the complexity of required documentation and the time needed for correct application preparation. ## Timeline ### 2026-11-07: Calabria Region unblocks 2.2 million euros for local artisans The Calabria Region has released over 2.2 million euros in liquidity to support local artisans and small businesses, following requests from industry associations. 8 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/calabria-region-releases-over-2-million-euros-for-local-artisans ### 2026-11-04: Calabria postpones fuel cost aid platform for transport companies The Calabria Region has rescheduled the opening of its fuel cost assistance platform for transport companies to November 18, 2026, following requests for more time to manage complex documentation. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/calabria-postpones-fuel-cost-aid-platform-for-transport-companies --- Cite as: Calabria regional economic support measures.
