By late August, the region secured 75 million euros for the Sila Greca aqueduct project. Obtained through the SFNIISSI national financial instrument, this investment is the first of four planned interventions to modernize the Abatemarco-Bufalo-Sila Greca water supply system. Managed by Sorical, the project aims to serve 47 municipalities in the Cosenza province by upgrading works on the Trionto River, enhancing the Mucone well field, and replacing critical pipelines to improve supply security.
