Initial plans scheduled a series of institutional and hiking events for the weekend of October 17 and 18, 2026. These were to include a conference at the Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica in Rome to discuss the project’s origins, scientific monitoring in the Monti Prenestini, and the future of ecotourism, followed by a public excursion. Reports indicate that an anniversary gathering was held at the ex Cartiera Latina within the Appia Antica Regional Park. The event brought together stakeholders, including the presidents of the CNP and the Appia Antica Regional Park, alongside representatives from regional government and various park institutions. Discussions centered on the importance of collaboration between associations and park institutions to improve natural walking paths. The CNP currently manages a 430 km network of 25 stages across the Lazio region. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-18: Associazione Cammino Naturale dei Parchi celebrates 10th anniversary The Associazione per il Cammino Naturale dei Parchi celebrated its 10th anniversary with an event at Appia Antica Regional Park, focusing on the development of natural walking paths in Italy. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/associazione-cammino-naturale-dei-parchi-celebrates-10th-anniversary ### 2026-10-13: Cammino Naturale dei Parchi celebrates ten years of territorial protection The Cammino Naturale dei Parchi will celebrate its tenth anniversary in October 2026 with a conference in Rome and a public excursion to promote ecotourism and sustainable development. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/cammino-naturale-dei-parchi-celebrates-ten-years-of-territorial-protection --- Cite as: Cammino Naturale dei Parchi tenth anniversary.
