In October 2026, several Canadian craft breweries received recognition at major industry competitions.

At the Canada Beer Cup in Calgary, Alberta, Smithers Brewing Company earned multiple accolades, including a third-place finish in the ‘Best of Show’ category for its Let’s Get Ready to Crumble Tart Ale and a gold medal in the Specialty Fruit Beer category.
