Canon has completed the initial installation of its varioPRINT iX1700 sheet-fed inkjet printers within the EMEA region. The first two units were deployed at AC medienhaus in Germany and Bookadew in the Netherlands during July and August.

The varioPRINT iX1700 is designed for print service providers with medium production volumes, capable of producing up to 170 A4 pages per minute. The system utilizes high-definition print heads and water-based polymer pigment inks to enable the internal production of high-quality materials such as books, marketing collateral, and premium direct marketing.
