Capcom reported that its action RPG, Monster Hunter Rise, has surpassed 20 million units sold globally. This milestone was reached approximately five and a half years after the game’s initial release on March 26, 2021.

Since the company reported 19.3 million units sold as of June 30, the title has sold an additional 700,000 copies. This achievement establishes Monster Hunter Rise as Capcom’s third-best-selling game of all time.
