Colombian singer Carlos Vives has released the music video for ‘Sombra Perdida’, a vallenato classic from his album ‘El Último Disco, Vol. 1’. The project, which earned a Latin GRAMMY® 2026 nomination for Best Cumbia/Vallenato Album, features a collaboration between Colombian vallenato and Spanish flamenco, involving artists such as Niña Pastori, Israel Romero, and Josemi Carmona.

In a separate reflection, Vives commemorated a musical connection to his late father, Luis Aurelio Vives Echeverría. He recalled performing the song ‘Sin ti’ in Valledupar in 2018 alongside Náfer Durán Díaz, noting the song served as a profound emotional tribute to his father’s memory.
