The Municipality of Carmignano announced a call for applications for 2026 rent assistance. A total of 42,498 euros has been allocated to support families with rental costs, comprising 38,000 euros from the municipal budget and 4,498 euros from the Tuscany Region. 

Mayor Edoardo Prestanti noted that the administration increased the allocation by 3,000 euros to maintain the “right to housing” despite a lack of national refinancing. The program targets residents with regular rental contracts who meet specific income requirements based on the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE). Applications are due by Monday, September 21.
