Although a project was approved in 2024 with a budget of approximately 69,892 euros, construction has been delayed. Reports indicate the impasse involves the State, the local council, and landowners, specifically citing the refusal of an affected property owner to allow the works. 

A protest involving approximately one hundred residents took place on Sunday, September 6, at kilometer 229, causing intermittent traffic disruptions for vehicles traveling toward Andorra and southward. Demonstrators are calling on the City Council to provide a concrete, public schedule for the project's execution.
