Recent cultural updates in Catalonia highlight new literary and theatrical works. Author Martí Gironell is presenting his novel, ‘Malaveïna’, which explores 19th-century themes of nature, health, and social tensions through the history of the Peralada Castle gardens and the legacy of ‘remeieres’—women utilizing medicinal plants.

In the performing arts, Enraona Teatre is launching ‘Les veles s'inflaran’, a musical spectacle by Joan Lluís Bozzo. The production acts as an anthology of the Dagoll Dagom musical company, revisiting characters from famous titles like ‘Flor de nit’ and ‘Mar i Cel’. The show is scheduled to premiere in Martorell on November 15.
