Argentine singer Cazzu has postponed several dates of her ‘Latinaje’ tour in Guatemala and Costa Rica due to a severe influenza infection. The artist stated that the illness prevents her from delivering the high-quality live vocal and instrumental performance her show requires.

Following the postponement, Cazzu provided updates on her recovery, noting she has been receiving nebulization treatments. She expressed her intention to perform at an upcoming event in Moreno, Buenos Aires, and has promised fans in Central America that the cancelled dates will be rescheduled. In Guatemala, the concert has been moved to November 14 at Ciudad Cayalá, with refund options provided for those unable to attend the new date.

As the tour continues, Cazzu is scheduled to perform a historic concert at the Estadio 23 de Agosto in her home province of Jujuy as part of the ‘Latinaje en Vivo’ tour. During a press conference at the Centro Cultural Lola Mora, the singer emphasized the importance of returning to her roots.

The event will feature the premiere of ‘Jujuy Mujer’. Cazzu also discussed the emotional challenges of performing ‘Inti’, a song written for her daughter, noting she works to perform the track without becoming overwhelmed by emotion. Federico Posadas, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, attended the conference, comparing Cazzu’s career to that of sculptor Lola Mora, describing both as powerful women who broke structures to achieve international recognition.
