Sources: 23. Developments: 2. CD Castellón has maintained an undefeated streak in Liga Hypermotion, highlighted by a 5-0 victory over CD Tenerife. This win, which coincided with the first anniversary of manager Pablo Hernández’s tenure, saw goals from Diego Barri, Matías Orozco, Camara, and Pablo Santiago. Following this success, the club faced squad depth challenges due to international call-ups for players such as Maty Orozco, Rodrigo Rego, and goalkeeper Amir Saipi. Despite these absences, the team secured a 2-0 away victory against CD Leganés at the Estadio Ontime Butarque, marking Castellón’s fifth consecutive league win. The victory over Leganés was characterized by defensive errors from the opposition, including a significant mistake by goalkeeper Luca Zidane that allowed Israel Suero to score from nearly 30 meters. Adam Jakobsen doubled the lead early in the second half, and goalkeeper Matthys preserved the clean sheet by saving a late penalty from Álex Millán. With this result, CD Castellón has reclaimed the top spot in LaLiga Hypermotion. Manager Pablo Hernández expressed satisfaction with the team’s ability to control the match. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-27: CD Castellón regains league lead with 2-0 win over Leganés CD Castellón secured their fifth consecutive win and reclaimed the LaLiga Hypermotion lead with a 2-0 victory over CD Leganés, capitalizing on defensive errors and a missed penalty. 9 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/cd-castelln-faces-squad-shortages-ahead-of-legans-match ### 2026-09-19: CD Castellón defeats CD Tenerife 5-0 to remain Liga Hypermotion leaders CD Castellón remains the undefeated leader of Liga Hypermotion after a commanding 5-0 victory against CD Tenerife at Castalia. 15 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/castelln-defeats-tenerife-5-0-to-remain-liga-hypermotion-leaders --- Cite as: CD Castellón Liga Hypermotion performance.
