CD Eldense has undergone significant organizational changes during the early stages of the LaLiga Hypermotion season. Following a poor start where the team secured only two points from twelve possible, the club dismissed head coach Claudio Barragán. While Josep Ferrando initially served as interim manager, the club later appointed Javi Calleja to lead the team.

In addition to coaching changes, the club experienced shifts in ownership, including the addition of Lionel Messi as a new owner. As of late September, the team sits in the lower rankings with five points from seven matches and is facing a critical schedule in October.
