Cultural celebrations involving Costa Rican and Nicaraguan traditions have been highlighted through various regional and international events.

In Nicaragua, the Caribbean Coast began its month of Autonomy in Bilwi with a rhythmic band festival celebrating the 39th anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy. Simultaneously, Costa Rica launched the ‘Baile a Tierra’ sound experience in Guanacaste, an installation designed to connect participants with nature through music.

Costa Rican culture has also been showcased in the United States. In New York City, a delegation representing the province of Guanacaste participated in the Hispanic Heritage Parade on Fifth Avenue, featuring a float with a marimba and elements of the historic Nicoya church. Additionally, Costa Rican artisans presented traditional Sarchí oxcarts and Boruca masks at the HOLA Charlotte festival in North Carolina to share national craftsmanship with the local community.
