Infrastructure and tolling developments are occurring across Central Europe. In the Czech Republic, road reconstruction projects in the Liberec Region near Nový Bor and Českolipsko are causing road closures and impacting local bus services.

Regarding tolling, the operator Autostrada Wielkopolska announced that toll prices on Poland’s A2 motorway between Nowy Tomyśl and Konin will increase on September 11, citing modernization and maintenance costs. 

In the Czech Republic, CzechToll reported that July toll revenue reached approximately 1.71 billion CZK, a 2.2% year-on-year increase. The company noted that 56% of highway toll revenue is generated by vehicles with foreign registration, while 65% of first-class road tolls are paid by domestic carriers. Since the start of the year, CzechToll has collected nearly 11.8 billion CZK for the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure.
