The construction of a 483-meter bypass connecting Cesano Maderno and Seveso has been completed and inaugurated. Funded by Regione Lombardia with an investment of approximately 21 million euros, the project was designed to replace the former Via Como level crossing, which closed in May. 

The infrastructure includes a vehicular underpass to cross the Milano-Seveso-Asso railway line, a bridge over the Seveso stream, two roundabouts, and a 12-meter pedestrian and cycle path. Engineering details of the project involved significant recessed or covered sections, including a 101.55-meter artificial gallery beneath the railway. The bypass aims to improve local traffic flow, reduce environmental pollution, and enhance railway service reliability.
